PLACE
Oriental Plaza- A place or a shopping centre in Johannesburg where the Indian people were allowed to set their shops or businesses.
White Suburb of Houghton- This is a place in Johannesburg where Mrs Nebo were living with her husband Mr Clive Nebo. In this place, there is a large swimming pool gleamed at the back of Mrs Nebo's mansion.
Sandton and Rosebank- The shops were Mrs always pays by cheque when she is buying.
PLOT
The Silk Scarf is a short story about a woman in South Africa who was staying in White suburb of Houghton in Johannesburg. Her name was Mrs Nebo. He was married by an impotant official of the African Front, Mr Clive Nebo.Mr Clive Nebo had alredy been designated as a Minister of Foreign Affairs in the new government to be established after the passing of the apartheid era. Mrs Nebo was of medium height, with heavy loins, her smooth-skinned complexion having been pampered by beauticians in Sandton salons.She was having her friend named Margaret, who was slight with a lovely smile and teeth. Mrs Nebo was also having her two escorts or bodyguards. One of the day, the two women were on a shopping expeditions and entered the portals of the plaza. They went in the Moghul Boutique and she saw good silk scarf that will match her dress. It was having a hundred and and ten rands but that time she was not having cash. She decided to buy it with a cheque but the shopkeeper Mr Sakur refused.One of the trader Mr Sader spoke to Mr Sakur to let Mrs Nebo to buy with a cheque because she was a wife of an important politician bt still he did not accept it. Mr Sader gave the money to Mr Sakur for the scarf and then addressed Mrs Nebo as a gift. She was very happy and smilling after she received the scarf and she thanked the traders.
MAIN CHARACTER
The main character in the story is Mrs Nebo. She was a wife of a newly appointed minister of Foreign Affairs,Mr Clive Nebo. Mrs Nebo was staying with her husband in the white of suburb of Houghton in Johannesburg.In her characteristics, she was of medium height, with heavy loins, her smooth-skinned complexion having been pampered by beauticians in Sandton salons. She likes to wear Indian dresses with lovely colours that matches her dressing. She is friendly and a good advisor or motivator.
Great job fellow, but Mrs Nebo is a she not he. You have only described the characteristics of Mrs Nebo but you left for the shopkeeper. I grant you 7/10
